Just buy a new zapper, don't waste your time

DO NOT buy this to fix your unit. I'm handy and it's definitely not worth the hassle to save $30-40. You have to fully disassemble your zapper. The wires are crimped and not easily serviceable. In some cases you'll have to strip wires and solder the new ones on. Just buy a new zapper with all new parts and the warranty.

needs a picture of the actual product

The transformer is great, but I really wish you would have a picture of the actual product instead of some generic transformer. It is a little concerning when you place an order based on the written exclamation and not the picture. A picture of the actual product would be much more comforting when placing an order.

Ballast/ Transformer for BK40D

After several years, maybe 10 years, my Flowtron Zapper was not zapping as it used to. The Zapper was barely frying the flying insects. I purchased the new Ballast/Transformer and installed it. Now the Zapper is working as it is supposed to work.
